I am so excited to announce that after many years of effort, this November, I will release my first book. It is designed to help mid-life women make informed career transitions. This book introduces the A.S.T.E.R. Career Model and offers practical and actionable guidance on career assessment, job search, and entrepreneurship. As a career expert, I wrote Purple Parachute to take the mystery out of career transitions. I noticed many of my female clients from a variety of industries were extremely talented, smart, and very capable, but they didn’t have confidence in their career management and job search strategies. They appreciated my ability to listen with a non-judgmental ear to offer sound career advice. After going through the process so many times with individual clients, I knew I could impact more women by creating a book explaining the process. My mission is to make this information and related resources more accessible. Think of it as a busy woman’s DIY manual for career transition, with everything you need in one place.

The following is a list of upcoming book events for The Purple Parachute (virtual and in-person). Times are in EST. All events are free except for the MACCA conference. Links have been provided for more information and to register, where needed. More locations and events will be added as we traverse along the east coast of the US in 2023.
Friday, October 28th from 5:30-6:30 pm join me for a Pre-Launch Happy Hour Celebration (virtual). Registration required.
Monday, November 7th from 10-11:30 am I will be a panelist at the annual MACCA Conference. This pre-conference session is titled “Is There a Book in You? Ask Three MACCA Authors Your Questions About Publishing a Book” (virtual). Registration required.
Thursday, November 17th at 7 pm, Wisdom from the Purple Parachute at the Larchmont Public Library (virtual). No registration is needed.
